MatchUp! Numbers

Matchup! Numbers is a dynamic card game focused on matching and adding values. Players flip cards from a face-down circle to claim cards from the center of the table or boldly steal entire piles collected by their opponents. The thrilling "take-it-all" rule keeps the outcome uncertain until the final move, offering an accessible and exciting way to practice quick mental math.

Gameplay Overview

At the start of the game, 4 face-up starting cards are placed in the center, surrounded by a large circle of face-down cards. On their turn, a player flips one card from the circle and looks for a valid action:

Matching or Adding: If the card matches the value of a card in the center OR sums up to equal multiple cards, the player claims those cards for their personal collection pile.

Stealing a Stack: If the drawn card matches the top card of another player's stack, the player steals their opponent's entire accumulated pile! (A gentler variant is also available, allowing players to steal only the top 3 cards).

Special Cards: Drawing a matching Wild or Divide card triggers special effects — clearing the center board or dividing an opponent's cards. If no match can be made, the revealed card is placed face-up in the center of the table. The game ends as soon as the face-down circle is exhausted, and the player with the most collected cards wins.
