In Picante, the more sweet cards you collect, the more points you score. But watch out! In each round, one color becomes your personal Picanté—and it might just make you sweat! Keep a cool head and balance the heat, because your opponents will do everything in their power to serve you exactly the cards you dread the most.
Balancing the Heat: How to Play
At the start of each round, every player chooses their own Picanté color. This is the one color you absolutely do not want to win:
The Spicy Trap: Any card of your designated Picanté color that you collect will inflict negative points equal to its face value.
Sweet Rewards: Cards of all other colors are perfectly safe, granting you 1 valuable point each.
Chili Trophies & Victory
At the end of each round, it is time to tally up the points and hand out the rewards:
Round Scoring: The player with the highest score earns 2 peppers, while the runner-up walks away with 1 pepper.
The Ultimate Champion: The first player to collect 3 peppers wins the game and claims ultimate victory!
