Qwixx Express

QWIXX EXPRESS is a new base game variant of QWIXX that brings a breath of fresh air to the established game mechanics with its head-to-head format and unique dynamics.

The first major change: There are no longer any colored dice. Instead, each player uses two white dice and a third die on which the standard game colors are arranged in place of the usual pips. The second major change: Both players roll the dice simultaneously – until one player is satisfied with the result and calls out “Stop!” Whatever is on the table at that moment is available to that player for scoring. The other player can adjust their result with additional rolls, but this will cost negative points in the long run. The Qwixx score pad, the rules for crossing out the numbers, and the scoring system remain unchanged from the original.

QWIXX EXPRESS expands the “Qwixx universe” with an extremely fast-paced duel variant. The familiar roll & write mechanics are deliberately tweaked slightly to make the gameplay more fast-paced. Even experienced Qwixx fans will find this version thoroughly enjoyable.
