Smart Split

Who works with whom? Smart Split replaces counting off, drawing slips of paper, and lengthy discussions when forming groups. Each participant draws a card, the teacher or group leader names a colour, and everyone with the same number in that colour forms a group. The same deck can therefore be used again and again to create different group sizes.

At the same time, Smart Split works as a reusable escape-room decoder. The cards contain several layers of encoded information, including Caesar, Pigpen, and Morse codes. Using the corresponding decoder cards, players can decipher hidden letters and numbers. This allows the deck to be integrated directly into custom escape rooms, puzzle stations, and other game-based activities – without having to create a new decoding system for every puzzle.

The durable plastic cards can also be used for language activities, movement, team building, and a wide range of teaching methods. Smart Split is not a traditional game, but a versatile playful tool for classrooms, workshops, and groups.
