What happens when gravity is no longer where you expect it to be?
SUPERA is a fast-paced competitive strategy game where players race to grow their own tree higher than their opponents on a shared three-dimensional structure. Five different TETRIS-inspired wooden shapes, tilted planes and constantly changing points of balance turn every move into a new spatial challenge.
The rules are simple. The challenge is anything but. Roll the die to determine your shape, find a matching place for your colour and extend your tree. But as the structure grows, familiar ideas of "up" and "down" start to disappear. With nothing reliably horizontal or vertical, players must constantly rediscover gravity, rethink their plans and decide how much risk they are willing to take.
SUPERA combines strategy, spatial thinking and physical skill in a game that is easy enough for children and newcomers, yet exciting enough to challenge experienced players. Its handcrafted wooden pieces and striking, ever-growing structure make it as beautiful on the table as it is engaging to play.
And when you're playing alone, SUPERA reveals another challenge: can you fit all the pieces back into the tin? The game's storage becomes a satisfying 3D puzzle of its own.
Come to Spiel Essen and see how high you can grow—without bringing the forest down.
