TATANKA is a strategic board game set on the Great Plains, where each player leads a Native American tribe through the passing of the moons, striving to ensure its prosperity and earn Honor.
Send your people across the land to hunt bison, gather resources and obtain everything your tribe needs to grow. Build Tipis, breed Mustangs, craft sacred objects and perform rites, choosing your own path toward prosperity.
At the heart of the game are the Chekutnak, traditional throwing sticks that you secretly combine to determine the type and strength of your actions. Read your opponents, anticipate their choices and decide how far to send your people: greater distances can offer new opportunities, but every journey takes time, and those who travel far will take longer to return.
Each tribe has its own characteristics and develops differently over the course of the game, while the rhythm of the moons continuously shapes life on the Plains.
